Welcome to The Midland, the original and best tapas restaurant on Anglesey. After almost eight years, we have refined our focus and are now dedicated solely to this flagship location in Beaumaris.

Our passion for creating a unique dining experience has always been at the heart of The Midland. We envisioned a restaurant that contrasts with the town’s more traditional venues, offering a modern, vibrant environment paired with exciting, innovative food.

Our Concept

At The Midland, our tapas are crafted to be both inspiring and rooted in tradition, with a unique twist that incorporates flavors from the Orient. This fusion of classic elements with contemporary and exotic flavors ensures there is something for everyone. Our fabulous drinks menu complements the diverse range of dishes, offering the perfect accompaniment to your meal.

Our Journey

We are a small, independent family business with a deep love for what we do. We purchased the property in September 2014 and embarked on a labor of love, renovating the space to create The Midland. It is also our home above the restaurant. Our hard work and dedication have paid off, thanks to the unwavering support of locals and visitors.

We are proud of our successful journey so far and remain committed to providing exceptional attention to detail and excellent customer service. Looking ahead, we are excited to expand into the outside catering market, bringing our unique tapas experience to events and gatherings.
